I'm still pissed about dragon rising--removed my video drivers then reinstalled them and it still doesn't work. I'm down for a free game! too bad it's not FP like L4D. At 48s though there's a FP over the shoulder window on the side. Might be to help aim with "adrenaline." Looks fun.

fun game. I recommend everybody taking a look at it. I was skeptical at first but a free 4 player game this fun is worth mentioning.

Yea, if it was like 20 bucks I would say not to get it...but its free because I think they want to get the modding community up and running more than it is now.

Hey guy I just found the console code to make it a first person shooter. Now this should really make the game a shorts painter.
In a running game of Alien Swarm simply go to Options > Keyboard > Enable developer console. Then hit ` (to the left of 1) and type:
firstperson
asw_hide_marine 1
asw_controls 0
And then you can experience the terror first hand.
