here are the pics of my leg for those that didn't see them on facebook. Thankfully because of the location (my shin) stitches would have been pointless so I didn't have to go to the hospital and get sewed back up.
The story is this, I sprayed a HUGE wasp to kill it and it didn't die, instead it came after me. So I ran like hell and slipped and fell going up concrete stairs.
The sad thing is the wasp got the better of me and it didn't even have to touch me....bastard...

Thanks for the story. I'm laughing my ass off and feeling your pain in the same breath.
I've never done what you have , but last year I went to the yard hose to water my tomatoes. While I was unraveling the hose I disturbed a nest of wasps without noticing. I was stung and let out an explicative laces scream that scared the shit out of the neighbors kids. Stink'n wasps. Needless to say, I always check for wasp before I water now.
Sorry to here you trashed your leg, but if you get stung my wasps or bees use table salt to get rid of the sting. I carry with me little salt packs, the kind you get from fast foods. Anyways put a little water (spit) on the bite and put the salt on it. Let stand for 5 min then repeat a second time. You'll have little or no swelling from the bite. If you spent time out doors keep this in mind.
Quite the man story, Perc, but I can only imagine that that must have really hurt.
Next timr try a newspaper followed by shoe.
Teach 'dem damn bugs why humans are number one in the yard.
