yea Deag I remember reading about "Ghost" back in the day, like 7 years ago. I remember the screen shots of a chick hangin on the ceiling rafters about to pounce on someone. It looked like Kortanna or whoever that half human half zerg chick is. Im pretty sure it took place before she was taken.

Sarah Kerrigan is the Zerg Queen of Blades. The ghost your thinking of is Nova, who makes an appearance in the new game. Kortanna I think is from Halo...and even then its spelled Cortona. And StarCraft Ghost was suppose to take place during the same time as StarCraft 2 (Which is about 4 years after Brood Wars).

It's actually Cortanna, lol.
I played on my brother's account today. It really sucks not being able to save games when playing as a "guest" on campaign, which is all I tried. I keep crashing, though. I like the campaign so far, and how it is implemented. [The Great Train Robbery LOL] The game play interface feels almost exactly like the orginal except for the graphics. It feels slightly like the game is targeted at tweens rather than tthe 20+ yr old folks who played the original...
I bought SC2 the day it came out. I haven't played it THAT much, but so far I'm quite impressed. I played the first game and in a lot of ways, this game blows the first out of the water.
There are a lot more build options as far as what you can do as a race to be effective. This adds more variety to the game. If you have a card that can handle the higher settings, it looks AMAZING and is almost jaw-dropping at certain points. The network/chat interfaces are extremely awesome and easy to use. I haven't played the Campaign, but so far I've heard it's very very good. The map design is more complex and adds more strategy with the the terrains and objects they've added. The three races seem more balanced, and defenses overall seem to have had a slight nerf which forces you to not sit on your ass as much.
I'm not going to go into any more detail about how much ass it kicks right now, since I gotta get some sleep, but to address a few things:
No LAN
-One of my coworkers told me they were releasing a patch to add this. I have not confirmed this.
Have to be online just to play the game
- Haven't tested this. Who doesn't have working internet nowadays?
Locked into regional play/can't play with people outside US unless u buy EU version.
- I think this is true.
No chat/chat room
- Not true at all. There is friend chat, party chat, and lobby chat. Too many chats.
Overpriced
- Possibly, but it JUST came out.
Cant easily add and find your friends
- WTF? It's actually extremely easy to add people, and you can even add your FACEBOOK friends.
RealID is getting people to use their real names and can be seen in game.
- Yeah, this is true, from what I've seen.
Can't name your online play games
- Not sure about this one

It is true and heres why...If someone from say Australia is playing against someone from Korea and the server they are playing in is in Korea, you already know someone is going to have that slight advantage. Now is this going to bother the average player who does ladder games on occasion? No. But for competitive play this can affect those split second timings.
You know whats funny about that thomas is that Australia and korea were set up to be in the same region I think. So when they get put into teams, they can't understand eachother haha. So I heard.

Not only have I been playing SC2 since it came out, I have been playing the beta since April. I think it is safe to say I probably have a good amount of experience with it. And I love it. It is a great game. All the issues that people are complaining about (No LAN, cross region play, chat rooms), most of them will be patched. I am pretty sure chat rooms of some sort are going to happen, but not till later patches. They will definitely come out with LAN, but I don't know if it will be available for everyone (mostly for pros and tournaments). Cross region play.. Who needs it? If you really need to play someone in Europe or Asia, then you are probably really really good and can justify the extra sixty bucks.
All said and done, the game is amazing. If you don't want to be competitive and just play around, it is so easy to do that. There are so many different custom maps already. And it is only a couple days into release. Metacritic has it at a 94 after 43 reviews. I definitely encourage buying this game!! =FaA= takes over SC2!! The campaign is sick too and I have only played 3 missions.
If you have SC2 I will try to find you on the FaA regular list on steam and send you a message. Otherwise, add me. I am Mad.Note@yahoo.com.
