For $760 with free shipping, I thought was a good deal. The screen is mondo huge, backlit keys are great, and there is even a number pad. Laptop with a number pad is crazy. I am downlaoding my steam games on here tonight and im gunna test this baby out, first with CSS. Ill let you guys know how she runs. Let me know what you guys think.

That sounds amazing. How did you pull off all that for $760? I have a full keyboard, too--it makes everything easier from online banking to address and phone number input.
It is a factory refurb. It is guaranteed new and had a 16 point inspection. It came with all the plastic protectors that u have to peel off every shiny part of the comp (which is basically the whole dame thing. Not even a scratch on it. this thing is NEW. I bought a Sony Vaio refurb back in 05 and that thing was sick. Rarely ever had issues. So im not afraid and actually enjoy the refurb while others enjoy the new new new stuff. Did I mention this thing is like brand new?
Yea the number pad on the right i dig cuz i never use the ones on top unless im play css and L4D.
So I did play CSS tonight (finally after a fresh DL of over 4660 MB)=, took FOREVER) and i get a little over 100fps when running around, then drops to 60-85 in a gun battle. Doesn't really drop lower than 60. And thats on trp 32 man server. Not bad at all. Cant wait to DL L4D2 and hit that shit up cuz CSS still chops like a bitch.

Since you picked out all the important components I don't really see a problem with refurb stuff. I have a refurb xbox 360 that works perfectly. I'm glad it worked out for you
